Pricing and Credits
The three shapes an app price takes#
| Shape | Example | When authors use it |
|---|---|---|
| Free | FrontendBuilder, Building Loops | Starter loops and loops that exist to teach the platform |
| Per run | $1/run | Loops whose cost tracks the work of a single execution |
| Monthly | $10/mo | Loops you run daily, where a subscription beats counting |
Some apps offer both. Claude News is listed at $1/run or $10/mo, which is the shape to copy for a loop with a daily rhythm.
Why runs bill to you and not the author#
The app runs inside your Claude, on your files. The author never holds your data and never pays for your compute. That separation is what lets an author publish a loop that touches private repositories without asking anyone to trust a hosted service with them.
What the console shows#
Every run lands on your console with its files, reasoning, and judge scores. If a run cost you money and returned something weak, the trail is there before you rate it.
Ratings follow real runs#
Stars come only from accounts that actually ran the app. A bare star stays private and moves the average; a comment is published on the app page. That is why a just poured app shows no rating rather than a manufactured one.
