Pricing and credits

What $1 buys#

One completed review on one pull request, including spec checks, decision compliance, inline findings, and the summary comment. Re-reviews after new commits bill the same way.

Top-up Reviews Typical for
$10 10 Minimum top-up
$25 25 A typical week
$50 50 A typical month
$100 100 A busy month

Most teams spend $40 to $80 a month. Top up any amount from $10 to $1,000.

What is not charged#

  • Failed, cancelled, and timed-out reviews
  • Pending runs cancelled because newer commits arrived
  • Pull requests from CI bots: Dependabot, Renovate, GitHub Actions, Snyk
  • Reviews on public repositories

Pull requests authored by AI coding tools such as Claude and Cursor count as normal authors and are reviewed.

Credits#

Credits are a prepaid balance bought from Settings → Billing in amounts from $10 to $1,000. They never expire, the current balance is always visible in the dashboard, and admins can grant credits to teammates.

Auto recharge#

Auto recharge is on by default so reviews keep running. When the balance drops below $10, $20 is added. Change either number or turn it off in Settings → Billing. Pair auto recharge with a monthly limit to keep spend predictable while avoiding outages.

Monthly limits#

Set a monthly spending limit in Settings → Billing to cap what your organization can spend in a calendar month. Reviews pause when you hit the limit and resume next month or when you raise it.

Free credits and the startup program#

  • Signup credits. Every new organization gets $10, no credit card required.
  • Open source. Reviews on public repositories are free.
  • Referrals. When someone you refer runs their first review, you both get $20 in credits.
  • Startup program. $100,000 committed. Email hello@prelint.com to apply.

What pauses reviews#

Reviews pause when your balance drops below $1 with auto recharge off or failing, or when you hit your monthly spending limit. Prelint emails you before reviews pause and again when they stop. Top up or raise the limit and reviews resume on the next pull request event.

Invoices and receipts#

Billing runs on Stripe. From Settings → Billing you can view and download past invoices, update your payment method, change your billing email, and open the Stripe customer portal. For invoice-based billing or annual prepay, email hello@prelint.com.
