Donbas Energo: outreach for distributed energy, without exposing strategy
"Working with R2 Copilot for Marketing gave us the edge we needed. We reached new markets faster, maintained full privacy over strategic data, and built better messaging for a product as critical as distributed energy generation. It's our AI secret weapon."
— Igor Degtyarenko, Head of Marketing, Donbas Energo
The problem#
Deployments of compact generation stations are highly localized. Each audience — an industrial park, a logistics centre, a municipality — needs its own argument. Tailoring that messaging quickly, without compromising data security, was the constraint.
What changed#
Campaign planning had previously stretched over weeks: manual drafting, fragmented research, version control. With R2 that came down by more than half. Within days the team had five segmented outreach strategies aimed at new business clusters, with messaging that read as though it had already been through several iterations.
Two capabilities did most of the work:
- Ideation. Rough goals and sector traits went in; structured messaging pillars and usable sample content came back.
- Multilingual drafting. Pitches in Ukrainian, English and German, without hiring external translators.
Throughout, according to the team, data never touched public infrastructure — the reason they chose R2 over platforms that require trading insight for exposure. See How R2 keeps content private.
Results in the first month#
- Three new high-potential zones identified for station deployment.
- Two pilot contracts in motion.
- Campaign planning time cut by more than half.
