Uninstalling Cursor Crane

Quit and remove the app#

1. Close the claw machine with Shift + Control + Esc, then quit Cursor Crane from its menu.
2. Move Cursor Crane from your Applications folder to the Trash.

Remove the configuration#

Configuration does not go away with the app. Delete this folder:

~/Library/Application Support/com.expressionloss.CursorClaw/

If you moved your conf folder elsewhere, for example into iCloud Drive as described in Configuration, delete it from that location instead.

Keep a copy first if you might reinstall. Restoring the conf folder brings back every sequence and shortcut you tuned.

Revoke permissions#

macOS keeps its permission entries after the app is gone. To clear them:

1. Open System Settings.
2. Go to Privacy & Security → Accessibility and remove Cursor Crane.
3. Go to Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording and remove it there too, if you had granted it for Find Mode.
