Free and Unlocked#
Free covers getting started, with occasional prompts about Unlocked capabilities. Unlocked is the full keyboard-first workflow with every mode and advanced action available.

Activation slots#
Unlocked comes with 1 or 2 activations. The two-activation option exists for people who use different Macs at home and at work.
Each slot activates one Mac at a time. Before switching devices, deactivate the current Mac in the app's license settings to reclaim the slot immediately.
Major versions#
Licenses are per major version. A future major version may require a new purchase if changes in macOS demand a substantial rewrite. Feature updates within your current major version are included.
Trial, refunds, and discounts#
A 14-day full-feature trial is enabled from inside the app, no license required.
