Window Mode
Select a window#
By default, windows and menu bar items in the current Space are highlighted, each with a hint.
- For a window, typing the hint activates it and moves the cursor to its center.
- For a menu bar item, typing the hint moves the cursor there and left clicks.
- Press
Enterto move the cursor to the current window.
Hold Option to widen the set to windows on other Spaces across each display, then type a hint to jump there. This is the fast path when you know which window you want but not which Space it is on.
Favorite windows#
Favorites are managed from Element Menu Mode, not here. Focus the window you want to keep, run command.enterElementMenuModeForFocusedWindow, then choose Favorite Window.
Once a window is a favorite, Element Mode and Scroll Mode can include its contents without you switching to it first. Jumping to favorite windows with number keys is an Unlocked feature, listed in Plans and Licensing.
