Overview

Center the Cursor in the Active Window

With Window Mode#

Window Mode centers the cursor as part of activating a window.

  1. Enter Window Mode with command.moveAndFocusToWindow.
  2. Press Enter to move the cursor to the current window.

Typing a window's hint does the same thing for that window: it activates it and moves the cursor to its center.

With Mouse Control Mode#

When the window is already focused and you only want the cursor moved, re-anchor the reference rectangle:

  1. Enter Mouse Control Mode.
  2. Hold Option so the reference rectangle becomes the window.
  3. Use the movement keys to move relative to the window rather than a small rectangle around the cursor.

Hold Control instead and the rectangle becomes the active screen, which is how you get to a screen edge in one press.

Bind it#

If you center the cursor constantly, give command.moveAndFocusToWindow a shortcut so it works without opening the claw machine. See Choosing a Usage Style.
