Pattern extraction
How themes are formed#
Signals are grouped by what they are about, not by which tool they arrived in. A complaint raised on a sales call, a support ticket and an NPS comment can all belong to the same theme, and their combined weight is what ranks it.
What a ranked theme carries#
| Insight | Evidence | Segment | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Onboarding friction | 847 mentions | SMB under 50 seats | Day-3 activation nudge |
| Missing CRM integration | 312 tickets | Enterprise RevOps | Accelerate connector build |
| Perceived ROI gap | 156 surveys | Mid-market | Success metrics rollout |
The action column is the point. A theme without a lever attached is a report; a theme with one is a decision waiting for an owner.
Ranking is by weight, not recency#
The loudest recent complaint is rarely the largest one. Themes are ranked by evidence volume and segment impact, which is why the ordering often disagrees with the last meeting's impression.
Cohorted and thematic views#
Themes can be cut by the cohorts your team actually plans around, so a pattern that looks flat overall shows its real shape once split by segment, plan or tenure.
