Can Vela handle multi-attendee meetings?
Yes, and it is the main case it was built for. Vela coordinates full interview panels with four to six interviewers plus the candidate, negotiating against every calendar at once rather than collecting availability one reply at a time. See Running a Full Interview Panel.
How does Vela know my availability?
It connects to the calendar you already use and reads real availability before proposing anything, so it never offers a slot you cannot keep. You can layer stated preferences on top — "no calls before 10am," "Friday evenings are free" — in plain language rather than configuration. See Priorities and Preferences.
What happens if someone needs to reschedule?
Vela re-coordinates with every participant, updates the existing calendar invites, and notifies everyone of the new time. A reschedule is treated as a renegotiation, not a cancellation, so the constraints and attachments from the original booking carry over. See Rescheduling.
Does Vela work with international time zones?
Yes. Every participant receives options in their own local time, and Vela coordinates around the clock — so a candidate replying at midnight from another continent gets an immediate confirmation rather than waiting for your morning. See Time Zones.
Can I set preferences for meeting types?
Yes. Default durations by meeting type, buffers between calls, limits on back-to-back interviews, and VIP handling are all stated in plain language on the thread and applied when Vela negotiates.
How do participants interact with Vela?
The way they would with a human coordinator. They reply to a normal email, a text, or a WhatsApp message. There is no link to click, no account to create, and nothing to install. See Channels.
Is there an API?

Does my team have to change how it works?
No. Vela lives on the threads your team already writes. There is no dashboard to adopt and no new workflow to learn — you CC an address the same way you would loop in a colleague.
